Run coding agents on sovereign Swiss OpenStack infrastructure
Connect a Keystone application credential and let SAM provision workspace and deployment nodes on Infomaniak Public Cloud, with persistent Cinder volumes that survive node replacement.
Why use Infomaniak with SAM
Swiss Data Location
Compute and encrypted Ceph/Cinder storage run in Infomaniak data centers in Switzerland.
OpenStack Automation
SAM uses Keystone, Nova, Glance, Neutron, and Cinder APIs with runtime-validated responses.
Persistent Deployment Volumes
Cinder volumes detach and reattach to replacement nodes while retaining application data.
Explicit Application Credentials
Use a scoped application credential ID and one-time secret instead of a broad account password.
Get started in four steps
Create an Application Credential
Create a Keystone application credential with reader and member roles; both roles are required in dc4-a.
Connect Infomaniak
Enter the application credential ID and one-time secret in SAM settings.
Choose a Swiss Region
Select dc4-a or dc3-a for workspace and deployment nodes.
Run Agents and Apps
SAM provisions Nova instances and region-matched Cinder volumes.
What you can build
European and Swiss data residency
Keep workspace and deployment infrastructure in Switzerland with English and French provider support.
Replacement-safe app data
Preserve application state on a Cinder volume while replacing deployment nodes.
Open cloud operations
Use standard OpenStack infrastructure without coupling SAM to proprietary VM or volume semantics.
Frequently asked questions
Which credential does SAM need?
A Keystone application credential ID and secret. In dc4-a, assign both reader and member roles.
Do Infomaniak volumes survive node replacement?
Yes. Cinder volumes are independent resources that can be detached and reattached within the same region.
Can SAM resize an attached volume?
SAM uses the documented safe path: detach first, grow the volume, then reattach. Shrinking is not supported.
